nergy is 100% Contagious. Fear can be absorbed from others as well as anger and joy. So here are a few ways to keep the JOY!
Staying away from constant bad news. Unfollow media, turn off notifications, monitor your screen time, and set boundaries when with family members who are negative. If a conversation comes up about the virus, you have the choice to protect your energy by saying “I actually don’t want to talk about the virus right now..” and move the subject. Create a safe time frame for interacting with toxic people.
Create a meditation, Journal, and gratitude practice. Everyday practice gratitude staring with 3 things in the morning and at night. Get back to pen and paper and start journaling your feelings this will help take the edge off the toxic feelings and emotions and helps you understand with more clarity. Meditation can be simple start with focusing on your breath, breathing in for 5 seconds, and release the breath for 5 seconds. You don’t always have to be in a crossed-legged seated position you can be walking outside getting the fresh air listening to music!
Making sure you are eating as whole foods as possible and staying hydrated. Fueling your body with nourishing foods and filling in the gaps with top-grade vitamins and supplements is very important so we don’t take on the jitters, sluggishness, brain fog that processed foods can create. Keeping a healthy body helps keep a healthy mind.
Sleep is the most important, your body restores many functions it calls on during daily life, such as temperature regulation, steady hormones, good appetite, and most importantly a strong immune system. All of these factors play a role in how much energy you have. Sleep also clears the waste from the brain to wake up every day with great intention!
